I make my living recording and producing music. Any thoughts on what I can check? The clock settings are all OK, the bit rates and audio format settings are OK. Also, before starting a recording session, check the frame rate and the size of the screen area you are recording because this might be the reason why video and audio are out of sync.
CAMTASIA 9 AUDIO OUT OF SYNC UPGRADE
Is there some setting I tweeked inadvertently? I'm not positive but I think this started happening when I did the OS upgrade to 10.6.7, but again I'm not sure. Choose the 'use software-mode only' option and restart Camtasia, then try to make a test video and see if this fixed the issue. Projects I did before this one (all with MIDI and recorded audio) play back fine. With the upgrade to Ver8 our live events are 95 successful, we don't see audio/video issues during the live meetings only when we view the recordings. I set up the same scenario (same instruments, etc.) in Garage Band and it worked fine. Either the audio/video/power points are out of sync and/or the audio will be missing and the video is frozen. To address this delay, your smartpen plays back audio from a moment five.
CAMTASIA 9 AUDIO OUT OF SYNC PRO
I have been recording audio with MIDI for years with Logic. 5, PreSonus Studio One 4, AVID Pro Tools, Bitwig Studio 3, Ableton Live 10. I do a Detect Tempo on the audio track, and indeed it comes back as a different tempo than the project.
The guitar looks fine while recording, but upon playback, it seems that the guitar is playing back at a totally different tempo than the drums. I now record a guitar playing along with the drum track. Fixed an issue with audio enhancements being ignored in projects that were created in previous versions of Camtasia Studio. The drum tracks lay down fine and playback fine. Fixed an issue that would cause audio and video to become out of sync when placed on the PiP track. I create MIDI tracks for a software instrument to do some drum tracks. I have just started experiencing this problem. Regards,Joe If you want to try Camtasia 100 that's understandable, here.
While your in there, set the white balance and color manually for a great picture.Don't use auto settings. That's why the workaround.Logitech software works with it's webcam just fine. I have an iMac 27 with the i7 chip, 8GB memory, 2TB disk, OSX 10.6.7 (just applied), an Apogee Ensemble audio interface, and Logic Pro 9.1.3 running in 64-bit mode. Camtasia doesn't get along well with Logitech webcams and the audio get way out of sync.
